Quick reference checklist for Shadow Executor public launch.

Pre-Launch (T-7 Days)​

Technical​

  • All tests passing (npm test across all workspaces)
  • Build successful (npm run build)
  • Demo command works: npx shadow-exec demo
  • Documentation site deployed
  • All packages versioned to 1.0.0

Content​

  • Demo GIF created and embedded in README
  • Product Hunt page drafted
  • Hacker News post drafted
  • Reddit posts drafted (4 subreddits)
  • Demo video recorded (optional but recommended)
  • Screenshots gallery prepared (6 images)

Platform Setup​

  • npm account verified
  • GitHub repository polished (description, topics, shields)
  • Product Hunt maker account ready
  • Hunter identified and contacted
  • Social media accounts created

Launch Day (T-0)​

Morning (12:01 AM PT)​

  • Submit to Product Hunt
  • Publish to npm: @shadow-executor/core
  • Publish to npm: @shadow-executor/cli
  • Publish to npm: @shadow-executor/sdk
  • Publish to npm: @shadow-executor/github

Daytime (8 AM–6 PM PT)​

  • Post to Hacker News Show HN
  • Post to Reddit r/devops
  • Post to Reddit r/MachineLearning
  • Monitor Product Hunt (respond within 30 min)
  • Monitor Hacker News (respond within 30 min)
  • Monitor Reddit threads
  • Share on social media

Evening (6 PM–11 PM PT)​

  • Continue monitoring all channels
  • Engage with questions and feedback
  • Track metrics (upvotes, stars, downloads)

Post-Launch (T+1 to T+7)​

Day 1​

  • Thank supporters
  • Triage feature requests

Week 1​

  • Submit to mcp.so directory
